Keeping Our Help With Basics Program Going

Due to the ongoing issues with the global supply chain, we are taking measures to ensure that we have ample inventories of hygiene items to keep our Help With Basics program going. We've been purchasing such items as razors, shave cream, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash and, shampoo in bulk from wholesalers who get the products mainly from China. Some come from India.

So far, we've had pretty good luck in having our purchases sent to us although shipping costs have gone up and back orders are getting more common. But, buying wholesale in bulk is still the best way to go.

As one can imagine, it costs quite a bit to run this program. We are giving out about 150 kits per month at a cost of $2.00 each. That's $300.00 a month. It is a very worthwhile endeavor and, these kits are really appreciated by our homeless friends.

We'd greatly appreciate some donations to help keep the kits flowing. Thank you...
