“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in…” ~ Matthew 25:35-40
Shepherd’s Way Street Ministries
Shepherd’s Way (SW) offers four ministries to help people who are living on the streets: SW Street Lunch, SW Help With Basics, Water for the Thirsty, and Clothing and Footwear. In these ministries, we carry prepared lunches/snack packs, personal hygiene kits, and bottled water with us and hand them out to those in need. We ask people if Shepherd’s Way can help them with clothing and footwear and we provide it whenever it is available. We also collaborate with other organizations through our Sponsors and Partners Program sharing items that can be used to help the homeless.
Hope and Awareness Academy
The Hope and Awareness Academy (the Academy) offers a ministry of hope for individuals suffering from chronic homelessness, addiction and other issues. It is offered as a resource to help people from a physical, mental and spiritual perspective.
Courses in the Academy include but are not limited to:
– Stress Management
– Coping Skills
