“What does it take to make sandwiches or, to find a new toothbrush or a comb and give them to a needy human being? Caring…”
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in…” ~ Matthew 25:35-40
Shepherd’s Way Street Ministries
Shepherd’s Way (SW) offers four street ministries to help the homeless: SW Street Lunch, SW Help With Basics, Water for the Thirsty and Clothing and Footwear. In these ministries, volunteers take to the streets with prepared lunches/snack packs, personal hygiene kits, and bottled water and present them to people in need. People are asked if Shepherd’s Way can help them with clothing and footwear which is then provided if available. Through the Help With Basics and Clothing and Footwear ministries, we also partner with other organizations such as homeless shelters to supply them with items that they can use to help the homeless in their communities.
