Who We Are
We are a Christian-based charitable organization located in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Operating as stewards for the Good Shepherd Jesus, we seek to help people suffering from issues such as homelessness, hunger and addiction.
We are an all-volunteer organization and an independent ministry. And, while we are deeply committed to our Christian values, we are not connected to any particular church.
Shepherd’s Way exists on a very meager budget and keeps its street ministries operating through small donations of cash, food, personal hygiene items, clothing, free rent, and prayers. If you travel through the City of Manchester early in the morning on any given day or, any time for that matter, you might see one of our volunteers walking up and down the streets of Manchester in search of homeless people to help. We hand out free snacks, hygiene kits and whatever we have available and present them as gifts from Jesus.
The trunks of our cars are always full of things to hand out and, when we see someone in need, we give them whatever we have.
All of our volunteers are dedicated to our mission and to serving Jesus. We give homeless people rides to appointments, let them use our phones when they need to make calls, help them to link up to social services and veterans affairs, offer bible studies and free life coaching and, if they need shoes, we track down a pair and deliver them.
Our mission is never complete and, whatever you can do to help us would be greatly appreciated. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which means that any contributions or donations that are made to us are tax-deductible to the donor.
Shepherd’s Way does not discriminate against individuals. Our services are open to anyone regardless of their race, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, political affiliation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, or national origin.
